Foodbank: Everyday people in the UK go hungry for reasons ranging from redundancy to receiving an unexpected bill on a low income. The Foodbank provides a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in Swansea. MONDAYS 1PM-3PM

CALL IN ON FRIDAYS: Red Café youth nights are a great place to hang out and catch up with mates. It’s a friendly and comfortable venue.

Matt’s Cafe

Matt’s Cafe is part of the Real Junk Food (TRJF) Project, a network of national and international cafes (both permanent and pop-ups) with one central objective: to intercept food waste destined for landfill and use it to feed people who need it, on a pay as you feel basis. Matt’s Cafe is the first registered café on the TRJF network in Swansea.

Community Fridge - Swansea

Swansea Swansea Community Fridge is a community food resource, which aims to redistribute surplus food from a variety of sources, including supermarkets, restaurants, allotment associations and domestic contributors. In doing so, we hope to reduce food waste across Swansea, while benefiting the wider community. As such, this resource is open to all members of the public.
